1. Introduction

Red Zeppelin Studio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Colorland - Coloring Book mobile application ("Colorland", "the App"). Colorland is a digital coloring book designed for children and families. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the protections in place for children who use it.

2. Information We Collect

Colorland does not require account creation, sign-in, email addresses, or any other personal information to be used. Specifically:

2.1 Usage Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as:

  • App opens and screens viewed
  • Coloring pages started, completed, saved, or shared
  • Language selected
  • General app performance and crash information

This data is not linked to a name, email address, or any other directly identifying information, and it is not used to build advertising profiles of individual children.

2.2 Coloring Pages & Drawings

The App downloads coloring page templates from our servers so they can be displayed in the App. When a child colors a page, the finished drawing is saved directly to the device's own photo library (with permission) or the App's local storage. Drawings are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

2.3 Photo Library Access

The App requests photo library access solely so that finished coloring pages can be saved to the child's device. This permission is used only for that purpose.

3. How We Use Information

  • Operate and maintain the App and deliver coloring page content
  • Understand which features and pages are used, in aggregate, to improve the App
  • Diagnose and fix crashes or technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Advertising

Colorland shows ads through Google AdMob. Because Colorland is directed at children, ads served in the App are configured as non-personalized, child-directed ads: no behavioral or interest-based ad targeting is used, and ad content is restricted to a general, family-friendly rating. We do not use ad networks or mediation partners that are not approved for use in apps directed at children.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may process limited technical data as described above:

  • Google Firebase Analytics – anonymous, aggregated usage analytics
  • Google AdMob – non-personalized, child-directed advertising
  • Apple App Store / Google Play – app distribution

6. Children's Privacy

Colorland is designed for and directed at children, including children under 13, and we intend for it to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy Requirements. In particular:

  • We do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information from children
  • The App does not contain account creation, in-app purchases, external links, or social features
  • Ads shown to users are non-personalized and restricted to family-friendly content
  • Analytics data is collected in aggregate and is not used to build advertising profiles of individual children

7. Data Retention

Aggregated usage analytics are retained only for as long as necessary to understand and improve the App. Drawings and photos are stored locally on the user's own device and are never transmitted to or retained by our servers.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data described in this policy against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
